- Onions

Method
- Chop the onions finely or make onion puree.
- In a pan, add oil, onion puree or chopped onions and let them cook till they are 50% done.
- Add chilies and ginger garlic paste and cook on medium flame till they turn golden brown
- Add tomatoes or tomato puree and let it cook till they are 80% done.
- Add potatoes, peas, carrots or any vegetables you like and let them cook till it is 80% done on medium low flame.
- Mix dhaba masala, well beaten yogurt/cream and curry leaves and add to the curry.
- Add water, chilli powder and salt if required.
- If you are adding Paneer, add paneer now.
- Close the lid and let it cook on low flame till oil separates. 10 Add lemon juice after you turn off the stove
